Question: How do I know if my connection to your online store is secure and encrypted, and any data I enter is private?
Answer: Happy Tees® has enabled secure connections to our Shopify store. This is achieved using a TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificate, sometimes referred to as an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate, that encrypts communication between the store and external content, and publishes the content securely using HTTPS instead of HTTP. It's actually provided for free by Shopify through a certificate authority (CA) such as Let's Encrypt. Using TLS/SSL ensures that the data entered (or typed in) by customers remains private and secure.
