Order processing time
The estimated order processing time is about 24 hours from the time you paid for an order. Then your order goes into printing production, which might last 1-3 days, but we have been observing the average production time is 2.7 days or less. Afterwards, once all of the printing and quality control is complete, your order is sent out for shipping.
Shipping times
An estimated time period for delivery in the United States is 2-5 business days for our free standard shipping option.
Some deliveries may experience shipping restrictions (one example in 2020-2021 was the pandemic COVID-19), which may be temporarily slower or suspended entirely. If this happens, your order will be placed "On Hold" awaiting further action, depending on which restriction applies to that particular destination:
(1) “Possible delay in shipping” – the order you paid for can still be submitted to our printing service, but Happy Tees® will manually attempt to contact you (as our valued customer) to get your approval before proceeding with the order.
(2) “Shipping destination restricted” – delivery to this shipping destination is not possible at the moment. In this situation, Happy Tees® will manually attempt to edit your order, and change to another printing service, because our printers have different locations, as well as they use different carriers. Another solution for this shipping restriction is Happy Tees® will manually attempt to contact you (as our valued customer) to obtain an alternative shipping address that is not restricted. Otherwise, with your approval, we could also leave your order “On Hold” and send it into printing production at a later time when the restriction will be lifted. And if none of those solutions are acceptable, Happy Tees® will coordinate with you to manually cancel your order and issue a refund.
Deliveries to post office boxes (PO box addresses) might encounter delays or issues, even when the address guidelines are followed. Be aware about potential delivery risks, as the delivery guarantee is smaller compared to door delivery. See the section below called Additional information or requirements. Please note that if the address guidelines aren’t followed, or if order tracking confirms successful delivery, we won’t be able to offer any shipping refund or compensation.
All APO (Army Post Office) / FPO (Fleet Post Office) / DPO (Diplomatic Post Office) packages will be shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS). Delivery may take up to 15-30 days. See the section below called Additional information or requirements.
Shipping costs
We are happy to offer free standard shipping. No extra charge.
International shipping
Shipping is only in the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time. For U.S. military addresses, see the section below called Additional information or requirements.
Customs fees
We are not expecting to incur any customs fees. Shipping is only in the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Lost and returned order policy
If the recipient fails to provide the required information in full (e.g., omitting their last name), the carrier may be unable to identify the recipient’s apartment. As a result, the shipment will be returned without any further delivery attempts by the carrier.
Additional information or requirements
The following shipping address requirements are applicable to all destinations:
- The shipping address must be exclusively in Latin characters.
- The limit for Address Line 1 is 35 characters, and for Address Line 2, it is 30 characters.
- We do not provide address validation services. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address.
For a successful home delivery, the following should be provided:
- Recipient’s full name (first and last name, matching the name on the apartment building)
- Street address and house number
- Apartment number (if applicable)
- Floor number (optional)
- Zip code
- Country
For post office boxes (PO box addresses):
- Delivery to a PO box is advised only for destinations in the United States. For other countries, delivery to a PO box is not advisable and is at the customer’s own risk.
- PO boxes come in various sizes, so it’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered product will fit in their PO box. The largest available box measures 12" x 22.5", so products exceeding these dimensions cannot be shipped to a PO box.
- At this time, we only offer standard shipping. PO box addresses are not supported by other methods such as an Express Delivery option. If a customer submits an order with Express Delivery and enters a PO box address, it will be imported as a standard shipping order.
The correct address formatting guidelines should be followed when a shipment is directed to a PO box:
- First name: John (matching the name on the box)
- Last name: Smith (matching the name on the box)
- Address 1: PO Box 1776
- Zip code: 28034
- City: Dallas
- Country: United States
For U.S. military addresses, typically, the tracking link stops showing updates once the order has reached the applicable APO, FPO, or DPO hub, however, the order is continuing its journey. Please note that the address should be in the following format:
- Country: United States (Select United States even if the destination is outside the US).
- State: AA (Armed Forces Americas) / AE (Armed Forces Europe) / AP (Armed Forces Pacific).
- Address 1: Unit and Box numbers.
- Address 2 (optional): Usually not required; however, if the address includes an FOB (Forward Operating Base), it can be added here.
- City: APO (Army Post Office) / FPO (Fleet Post Office) / DPO (Diplomatic Post Office).
- Zip code: The zip code.
